The Citizen Online Reporter is a website that citizens can use to report small crimes. This can save substantial time and money because these citizens now do not have to go into a police station to report a minor incident.

Reports that are created from the Citizen Online Reporter become integrated into the overall uniFORM field reporting system and are subject to the same approval and archive process as any report created by an officer. 

Citizens are presented with up to 6 sections to enter the information on the incident. A progress bar tells the user how close to completion they are.  At the end, a complete review is presented so the user can print out a form, or edit any information that has been entered. When the report is submitted, it is transmitted to the designated supervisor’s inbox for review and approval.

Depending on what is entered, some pages may not be displayed. or some information on a particular page may not be displayed.  The uniFORM Citizen Online Reporter has been designed to present as little to the user as possible and still cover all required inputs.
