Data Recovery and Conversion
AIS has combined its expertise in consulting along with its extensive experiences in the world of conversions to form the AIS Conversion and Data Recovery Division. This marriage is invaluable to corporations that have data stored on magnetic tapes in storage. Over time, these data may become irretrievable due to decomposition of the media itself, the host computer is no longer available (not working, nonexistent, no longer supported by the manufacturer, etc.), the originating personnel are no longer available, or the data format is simply unknown.
Our data recovery and analysis expertise has been utilized extensively in support of litigation involving historical archival databases.
