uniFORM Analysis

The uniFORM Analysis Module integrates into the uniFORM Field Reporting system and can be used to display data entered in the reports. The data can be displayed in tabular or graphical form. The analysis module uses Crystal Reports as the basic report generation tool.  New reports can be created and put into the system by an Admin user at the agency or department.  The system can handle any number of different reports.

Security

Users can be separated into groups.  Each group can have access to a different set of reports. In this manner, reports with sensitive information can be viewed by selected users with the required access level.

When a report is opened by the user, the uniFORM Analysis module performs the logon to the database in the background. In this manner, the user does not have to know the password to the database. Without the uniFORM Analysis module a user must know the password to the database to use a Crystal Report.

Parameters

If a Crystal Report requires the user to enter parameters such as a date range, uniFORM Analysis module automatically knows what parameters are needed and displays the appropriate parameters for the user to enter.

Adding Reports

Administrators can add new reports to the system.  This is as simple as creating a Crystal Report using the standard Crystal Report software.  The built in administrative features of uniFORM analysis enable a report to easily be uploaded to the server and itegrated into the system.  When this is complete, the report automatically becomes part of the menu system and is available for all users with the appropriate access level.
