WriteApproach combines the versatility of word processing with the power of database management to provide the essential tool for companies that create repetitive forms such as quotations, contracts, or reports. Every document created with WriteApproach automatically creates a completely indexed record in the WriteApproach central database. This database can be searched by any data field to quickly and easily retrieve any document or to create production analysis spreadsheet reports that summarize groups of documents. You can even utilize multiple databases to isolate different functions of your business.
Imagine, years later you can quickly and accurately retrieve all quotations sent to any of your clients by simply searching the WriteApproach database for the client's name or locate a particular report by searching for the report subject. And with the powerful SmartSearch® technology built into WriteApproach, searching is easier than ever.
Creating a complete document is as easy as opening a template and filling in the blanks on a specially designed Report Setup window. Within minutes you can have a professional document, complete with graphics, ready to send to your valued clients.
You can e-mail or save your document in many popular formats including Microsoft Word, Web Page HTML, and Adobe PDF. In Adobe PDF format, you can even set passwords to control who opens and reads the document.
You can import an existing Microsoft Word document to use as a template without retyping it, or you can create a new template directly into WriteApproach. Templates can include check boxes, pull down lists, graphics, text, and stored paragraphs that you can insert and use for several templates. WriteApproach even includes built in templates for many industry standard documents.
Several templates can be linked together to use the same general input information. For example, you can create an initial report for a customer and then create one or more follow-up reports. All reports will be included in the index and all can use identical inputs.
WriteApproach has unparalleled flexibility for you to define your own production analysis reports. If you wish, you can create invoices and track payables and receivables.
